I just had my head gasket and timing chain replaced because it was overheating. Now about a month later it is overheating again. I have noticed a small leak but not too bad. When I am driving slow or come to a complete stop it gets worse and shakes like it is about to cut off. What could it be?

Good morning.

When they replaced the head gasket, did they find the reason the head gasket failed? Head gaskets failure is a result of overheating, not the cause of overheating.

The fact it overheated again and you have a rough running engine indicates you may have blown another head gasket as the result of overheating.

Do you hear or see the cooling fan working?
