The van started losing acceleration at about 60 mph, and would stall out at low speeds. There was alot of jerking and hesitating, no engine light yet. We took it to dealer and were told it coded to have the computer replaced. The computer was replaced then very soon the problem returned and now battery was losing charge, still no engine light. Was advised to change fuel pump and filter. The van ran pretty powerful for about 20 mins. Then sputtered and stalled out again. It will crank but not start and now the engine light is on.

See this is why I cannot stand dealers, in my opinion they are total rip offs, anyway. It could be several things but I am leaning towards crank position sensor and map sensor, they both will have to be checked and replaced/if necessary, You have to tell thos people at the dealer that you brought your van in for a problem and they replaced everything under the sun and didnt fix it. Talk to the service writer. They are the ones that send it in for the ailment(what your complaint is)
