1997 Oldsmobile Aurora 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

When I am slowing down or come to a complete stop the car stalls and it takes 2 or 3 tries before it turns back on, but it will continue to stall more and more after the first stall.

I think your problem is one of two things, the idle air control valve is my first suspect, as this holds the idle when your foot is off the gas pedal, and then my second suspect is the crank sensor, when this becomes fualty, it will heat up and cause an open circuit thus making the car shut off, it will cool down and you will be able to run it again until it gets hot, then the cycle starts again
