I've had this car for a couple months, love this car too! My issue is the temp. Gage starts going above 200 then will start acting strange. The power to the car will start putting then the engine will stop completely. Already had the converter hollowed, thinking that will solve the issue, but its getting only worse. What is going on? Please anything will help

This sounds like your car is overheating. Driving it while its overheating could cause a catastrophic engine failure and you will have to rebuild/replace your engine. Hollowing out a catalytic converter if it was clogged could hypothetically help in keeping the engine from overheating but it sounds like more than just that.

First with the engine cool, check your radiator to see if its full. Let's go from there.

What size engine do you have?
