Oil loss after control arm replacing on the passenger side

Had the control arm replaced on the passenger side yesterday. Now my car is using all of the oil. Why is that? Is there something that they could have hit or down when they are replacing the control arm?

No, there is no direct link to the oil pan for this repair.
