Had an oil change but oil light is still on. Is there a reset that needs to be done?

Which light are you referring to? There is the red oil pressure warning light on the dash, and there may be an oil change reminder display. Reminder light resets vary by manufacturer and model. If that needs to be reset, I will look up the procedure for you. If the red warning light is on, we will need to discuss the causes and solutions.

I do not have an Intrepid to look at. Are you seeing a red "oil" warning light or a display telling you it is time for an oil change?
