Oil and water mix

Oil and water mix in water bottle. Car did not overheat and drives smooth.

Hello,

So you have have oil mixing with your coolant? If so, this is a pretty good sign that you have a blown head gasket. I have included a few links below for you to go to.

That year model does not show a 2.4L but a 3.0L inline 6? Either way both those engines have an oil cooler that may have an internal leak if you did not overheat and it drives smooth. Attaching image for the 3.0L since it is the same thing.

If oil did mix with the coolant, replace the oil cooler. You will need to flush out the system really good with water and after replace all the rubber hoses. Here is link to flush the system:

But as SCWICKEDSTANG suggested earlier. Use those links he posted to verify it is not a blown head gasket.
