Oxygen sensor location and replacement instructions needed

Trying to find the sensor inside the exhaust manifold/crossover specific to the Sfi 3100 V6 and also the wiring to the sensors.

Good afternoon,

I attached pictures of the location for the upstream and downstream O2 sensors.

What is the issue?

I attached the wiring for the O2 sensors. The brown wire is battery voltage for the heaters on each one.

No, there is not.

There are only 2 sensors.

Why do you think there is a third sensor?

No, there s no sensor there. That cross over pipe connects the front bank to the rear bank.

Okay, because I was at AutoZone and they have 3 different kind of sensor for my vehicle and I feel I might have got the wrong one. I can send images of these 3.

Your vehicle has two 02 sensors. One upstrem and one dowmstream.
The upstream 02 sensor is mounted in the exhaust system before the catalytic converter. The downstream is mounted in the exhaust after the catalytic converter.

On a 1998 Malibu 2.4L 4cyl, to which sensor does a P0141 OBD code refer? If it's not the one after the catalytic converter, where is it located?
