Was heading home truck stalled on the road and would not start. Left it alone for two hours and it started fine but only ran for fifteen minutes then stalled again and will not start at all. Scanned says anti theft system but no restart will solve this for me? People are saying bad PCM/BCM need replaced. Any help would be awesome.

Good morning,

You need to test for spark and fuel when it does not start.

Check the fuel pressure. Try spraying some carburetor cleaner in the air filter and see if it starts and stalls.

Check for a spark to the plugs as well.

Okay, if it has fuel and spark, then test the compression. It is the last thing you need to run.

Did a compression test everything is good only code that is coming up is anti theft system, but it clears and still wont run. If you leave it alone for a few hours it will start perfectly fine and shut off once it reaches normal operating temperature.
