Drove car to work, ran fine, shut off and wouldn't start back up after end of shift. Cranks fine but won't even try to start. What I've done so far: Checked fuel pressure at rail and it was 55lbs. Checked injector pulse with Noid light and they pulse fine. I tried using starting fluid and it didn't help at all. I then did a compression test and all cylinders tested over 150lbs. I checked fire at every plug, and they all fired, however plugs were badly worn so I replaced them. It made no difference. I had pulled a code for camshaft sensor, so I replaced both the front and back. I am now getting ba P0010 and P0013 code but no others. Still cranks fine but will not even try to start.

Hi,

It's odd that both sensors are having an issue. What caught my ear was the idea that it has spark and there was no change when using starting fluid.

By chance, could you record it cranking and upload it for me to hear? I have a feeling we jumped engine timing. I should be able to tell by hearing it cranking.

On the other hand, I attached the diagnostics for the two codes you have. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.

Take care,

Joe
