When I replaced switch it was just unplug and unbolt, put new one back on top of colum and bolt down then plug back in. With the module, same thing, unplug and unbolt and replace. No wires got messed with or changed. Regardless of no power at coil, I need to know why I have no power at all. Im assuming it would have to be in my ignition. Is there any wiring that goes to the ignition itself on a straight column, no horn just blinkers and hazzards

Obviously you arenot understanding what i's suggested the first few times. I first said to check your fusible links, if you don 'tdo that then how can we help? If a fusible link is burnt you don't get power even if youget it one other place. You have made NOTHING as far as SAYING THE LINKis ok. My suggestion to you is to take this vehicle to someone who knows what they are doing so they will have it right there instead of contstant emails back and forth. With one person doing something and another not knowing what the heck you did. Take it to a pro and quit screwing around with it as you are completely lost.

First you say you have no power to coil now you say you do which is it? Check resistance of pickupcoil in dist it should be 400-600 ohms violet and orange wire leads. Follow the things I've sent in pics. I have no further suggestions. One other thing the cars when made by American motors had the crappiest systems andwere always failing also check for a bad ground as AM had a huge ground problem which is why there would be no power but you say you have. I have no further suggestions you might try he jeep guy on here if I thinkabout it i'll send this to him.

Thanks for suggestion, obviously just a miss communication. Like I said before maby not clear enuff. When I turn key on there is no power to any guages or stereo, anything like that. But with the key on I have power to the volt relay altenator and that stuff but not in the coil. U said I should still have power everywhere else though. Thats why im stumped

Sorry fellas, gave up for the day, getting to mad. The coil being bad is secondary now. I need to know why I dont have power at all. No wy to send pics at the moment or I would. After everything ive done, ive come to the conclusion that I have a bad ground somewhere, thats the only rason I can come up with for not having any power at all. If this helps, like I said before when key is off I have lights coming on in stereo but it wont turn on, with key in on position those lights turn off but still nothing. Electrical is not my strong point. Mechanical no problem, but u have to learn somewhere
