By the brakes not working, I suspect you mean they are not stopping well or grinding when you press the pedal. If that is the case then yes, you need to replace them.

Here are a couple guides that will help with this:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-replace-front-brake-pads-and-rotors-fwd

When replacing pads and rotors, it is a good idea to flush the system and get new fluid in the lines.

Here is a guide that will help with this:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-bleed-or-flush-a-car-brake-system

Below you will find the process from the manual that will provide the info needed to complete this.

Please let us know if you have other questions. Thanks

Good morning,

If the pads are not contacting the rotor then it is either the calipers or the master cylinder not sending fluid to the calipers for activation.

I attached the procedure for you for the replacement.

No, you need all four wheels. Rear brakes ae not enough.

Do not drive the car until you fix the front brakes. It is very dangerous.

Well, to be honest with you I am still driving with the rear brakes only. And I can manage it pretty well. What do you mean by dangerous? The car is still stopping right?

Not as well as using four wheels to stop the car.

You should not be driving the car.
