I changed the whole ignition wiring harness on my car (it is the SXT model). It is a used harness but it is exactly the same. When I go to start it I get nothing when I turn the key. Everything lights up normally but no clicking sounds or anything.

Why was the original harness replaced? Was the car running fine before the change?
Check over the wires shown in the diagram and be sure they are connected and not damaged. Also, check to see if the starter relay is clicking.

The car actually ran pretty good when I first brought it, but it has a p0203 code and I have emissions where I live. The car must pass emissions in order for me to get my tag. The harness looked a bit tattered like someone had been cutting into it. I was told to change the harness first if that did not get rid of the code change the PCM. Now that I have changed the harness it will not start and no the relay is not clicking.

Sounds like either a bent pin in the start circuit wiring or this harness has an issue.

I will say I would have only replaced the injector wires myself. That would have been one wire from the injector to the PCM and testing the power feed as they all get power from one fuse.

I was told the transponder key may need to be reprogrammed. Have you ever heard that before? Keep in mind that only the harness was changed not the PCM.

If only the harness then the key should still match the PCM. Does the theft light come on and then go off?

Okay then it is not the key. The light would stay on or flash fast if the key was the issue. Most likely there is a break in one of the wires in the starting circuit or a bad connection. The hard part will be finding it. You can try seeing if the starter motor works by jumping the relay. If you turn on the key and jump the relay and it starts then you just need to find the issue in that harness.
