I have a 2001 Eclipse.I know that the drain plug from the evaporater pan on the AC is clogged, my floorboard on the drivers side is wet(that's been going on awile). BUT now my AC is only blowing hot air.I can hear the compressor kicking on but no cold air. The temp selector works, when I turn it to hot heat come out. But no AC.I just got laid off, love in Flioirda and need any advice anyone can give. Thanks!

You need to make it drain, the water may be interfering with air flow. Blow air back up into the drain hose and it should free it up.

Thanks but while I know where the evaporator is (under the center of the dash).I can't find the actual drain hole AND I put some Freon in and the air is cold now, but seems off and on. Could that be a leak in the system or with 97000 miles just time for a shot? The clogged hole shouldn't affect the whole system right? The pressure was a little low before I put some freon in and I followed that up with a stop leak (I know that junk rarely works but hey what the heck). Thanks for all your help. Wish I could afford more of a donation.

No worries on the donation, we do what we can.I guess I misunderstood. It could very well need some after that many miles.S far as the drain goes, you may need to get under the car and look up to see it.
