I put the key in the ignition and the lights, music and other electrical devices work fine, but the car won't start it does turn over. The fan comes on when I turn the key.

I would start by checking the fuel pump and see if there is spark to the plugs. I just had one of these in the shop and the problem was the crankshaft angle sensor when out. Here are a few guides and some diagrams to help you confirm the failure and get it fixed.

AS far the the fuel pump just turn the key tot he on position without cranking the car over and you should be able to hear the pump.

If there is no spark here is a guide that will give you an idea of what you are on for when doing the job.

Please let us know what happens.
