1985 Mazda RX7 Fuel Problem

1985 Mazda RX7 Two Wheel Drive Manual 112179 miles

I have a 1985 Mazda rx7 GSL-SE. It has a new battery, starter, fuel pump, and fuel filter. The engine will fire and run. It will idle as long as you want it too. If you press the gas pedal the engine wants to cut off. If you release the pedal the engine will idle again. You can slowly press the pedal and it will go to the redline if you wanted to but if you rap the throttle it wants to cut off. I just replaced the Fuel injection Pulseation Damper and still same thing. I replaced the fuel injectors thinking they where the problem. Please I need some help. I would like to drive this car this summer. This is my first rotory car and first mazda ever. Thanks for any help. Chris

Test out the throttle position sensor and check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge.
