I am wondering what this wiring harness is for? I came across it when I was searching for why my taillights were not working. I cannot seem to find out where it plugs in or if it even plugs into something? It is located up under the driver side dash board. Any help would be great!

Good afternoon

Does anything else not work besides the tail lights? Check all your other systems and make sure everything works.

This could be a connector to an accessory that you do not have. Factory wiring includes all wiring for all options.

I found a diagram that has the wires in a connector. It is for the fuel pedal assembly. Look at the gas pedal and make sure there is a connector connected there.

So I did some looking up under the dash and found that the fuel pedal is already hooked up. It is probably just a factory wire option I don't have. My running taillights, license plate lights, and all side marker lights are not working. I don't think this would be the cause. I'm taking the car into a dealer to have the lights looked at. There is factory tape on it probably just to hold it up out of the way. But came across this connector when I was searching for that problem. I'll just probably zip tie it back up.
