The car starts fine on the first start of the day or if it has been sitting for long periods of time. My problem is after car gets up to operating temperature it will not start or has long crank times. I've read about this issue until my eyes bleed and can't find a definitive solution to this problem. I've replaced the thermostat, fuel pump, all 4 spark plugs, 1 ignition coil that was bad and crankshaft position sensor. None of these things fixed or even helped the problem. Has anybody found a solution to this yet?

Good afternoon,

When it does not start, can you check the fuel pressure to be sure there is pressure to the rail?

When it does not start and you crank it, can you tell me if the tachometer shows some RPM reading?

Are there any codes stored in the system?

Yesterday I went ahead and replaced the camshaft position sensor. Happy to report that the car has not had any further issues with long crank/no start. I'm not sure if it was a combination of things I replaced or if that was the problem to begin with. Hope this helps someone with these issues.

ASEMASTER6371, to answer your questions I did not check the fuel pressure nor the codes stored (probably not smart on my end). The tachometer stayed buried on 0 with absolutely no movement while cranking. I appreciate the quick response to my issues and will use this site for future repairs.
