1995 Other Kia Models Code 02

I have a 1995 Kia Sephia that sometimes will not start. It does have spark when this happens but will not fire. If it sits for a day or two, it starts and runs fine until next time. I found code 02 -no ne signal- stored in the computer. Distributor has a 4 pin plug with a vertical connector. Hard to figure out when it runs, and I hate to just toss money at it. Any ideas?

My software just says "distributor" as probable cause, not too much in the way of replacing anything inside of it. Intermittent shorts are very hard to find sometimes.
