Hi my car recently stalled on me and won't start. It makes a grinding/knocking noise when you turn on the ignition. The dealer says it will be 2 weeks to fix and when I asked what the problem is he stated that its the engine, but he doesn't know the extent of the problem at this point. My warranty will cover the repair. He stated that he needs to take the engine out and look inside to find the extent of the problem. I had my 30,000 mile service done in Nov last year and my car hasn't been the same since. A large puddle of oil had leaked from my car and it wasn't running the same. I returned to the dealership stating my concerns and they said they would look at it. They told me they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Now 9 months later my car is in the shop. Could they have damaged my car during the 30,000 mile tune-up? Two weeks to fix seems a little long doesn't it?
