Does not start in park have to put it in neutral before I start I can start?

My jeep does not start in park have to put it in neutral before I start I can start. Also the front right side wheel rackles when it drop in a pot hole. Could you help me.

Hello,

It sounds like you might have faulty neutral safety switch.
Typically when that switch goes bad you will have to put in neutral to start.
The neutral safety switch is located on the passenger side of the transmission.

For the noise coming from the front right side, it could be a number of items like balls joints, sway bar or the link etc.
You need to first do a visual check to see if anything looks broken or loose.
