Hey there, My XJ* recently began lunges into gear when shifting from revers to drive or begin from stop sign or slow down. It seems as though there is a delay in the information being transmitted toitransmission as to MPH and gear.

Please help!

Ok if I understand right it feels like the transmission is slipping? So first is the transmission full? When was the last time the car had a transmission service (fluid and filter change)? When you say it lunges what happens with the rpm? Get back to me and we will go from there. Thanks for your support and talk to you later.
