I just purchsed a 1994 Jaguar xj6 from the original owner who was my neighbor. The milage was 69,700 and now has 72,000 miles on it. Sometimes you have to crank it several times and than stop and try again and again to start it.
I was told to replace the dist. Cap and rotor and plugs. When I removed the plugs #'s 1-2-3 were saturated with oil on the threads as well as the plug well, 3-4-5 were dry and looked normal. After replacing the above there was no change. Please help.
Where is the oil coming from?
