Engine cranks but does not start

You go turn it over all lights come on and will not trying starting. Last time I did the security thing with unlocking the door and it started, this time not working. Please help.

Is the starter engaging? Are you sure the battery is charged, and the terminals are clean and tight?

Yes, very good with the battery. Had it test. Not sure how to test the starter though. But I always thought that it would make some sound if it was the starter. It's like a security issue. But the security light is not blinking or staying on.

Hi,

We have two things to try. First, you could remove the starter and have it bench tested at a parts store. Or, you could check to see if it is getting power to the smaller wire on the starter when the key is in the start position.

You will need a helper to check for power. If it is getting power (with the key in the start position) to the smaller wire, and the larger wire has 12v at all times, the starter is bad.
