I'm having a difficult time figuring out what is wrong with the automatic A/C. It works sometimes. I have replaced the high and low pressure switches, checked all wiring in the A/C circuit, replaced the ECM and made sure the A/C system is properly charged. I have also replaced to HVAC control module. Does the body control module have anything to do with the HVAC system? Also, when the A/C does work the heated seats don't work and the heated seats work the A/C doesn't. What else am I missing?

We need to start with what the A/C does when it does not work. I assume it just blows hot but how often does this happen? Is it only in the morning or after you have driven for a while?

The BCM does not have any bearing on the operation of the AC but again, we need to do some testing to narrow in on what is going on.

Here are some guides that will help with this:

I would suggest we start from the beginning to find out what is going on with the system.

That means we need check what the pressures are when the A/C is on and off. I understand you have checked to make sure it was properly charged but the pressures will give us an idea as to what is happening when this is blowing warm.

This means we need to get the A/C to act up while we are checking pressures assuming that the pressures are normal when it is not acting up.

I attached the wiring diagram below of the compressor circuit just to show what is involved with operating the A/C.

Also, there is a chart that will show proper pressures just to compare to.

Please let us know what you find with this and if you can provide the detail on what you are seeing when this is acting up.

Thanks
