I have a 98 Hyundai Accent gl. My question has to do with th emergency brake. The light indicating the use of the emergency brake is constatly on regardless of the position of the emergency brake. I'm going to be selling the car so I would like to get this ratified. I assume that the sensor for the brake is in close proximity to the brake itself. What should I do?

1st off make sure the light is the ebrake light and not the regular brake light I have seen this mistaken b4 if it is the ebrake light try dis connecting the sesor located under the ebrake lever if light goes out its a bad sensor, if it is the regular brake light check the brake fluid level. Good luck
