Engine Cooling problem
2002 Hyundai Elantra Automatic 105000 miles

I just replaced a radiator in my car less than a year ago. It was under warranty when it cracked again a week ago. I had it replaced, but my engine is still overheating when I accelerate. I've heard it could be a head gasket which could be pricey, but are there any other suggestions as to the issue? Is this common for this car?

My car is only worth about $1500, if it is the gasket, is it even worth fixing? Any quick fix, temporary solution recommendations? Help!

Hi there, change the thermostat and check that the cooling fans are working, did they replace the pressure cap with the radiator? If it is a head gasket and this can be checked wit a Co test of the cooling system, there are no shot cuts or magic fix all in a can, the head will have to be removed and done correctly.
