Engine Cooling problem
1999 Hyundai Elantra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My car is overheating-all fluids at levels they should be at. Could it possibly be the thermostata? Head gasket was checked and all is well.

Have you ever flushed the cooling system and refilled?

Replace thermostat while your at it.

Next step would be to check if the water pump is good, do this with the engine HOT and your gloves on that way you dont get burned.

With engine running pinch off upper radiator hose you should feel pressure build and when you release the radiator hose you should feel pressure rush by when released.
