2008 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

What is the key to reinstalling the manual transmission after replacing the clutch? Do the gears or shifter need to be in a special configuration?

Hello,

The Splines on the shaft going into the clutch assembly need to line up with the grooves on the clutch disc. So you may just need to turn the shaft a little here and there to get it alined.
