2005 Honda Civic Rear view mirror

The rearview mirror came off. There are no broken parts but it will not pop back into place. How do I fix it?

Did the metal piece attached to the windsheild also come off?

If it did, there is a rearview mirror adhesive kit available at a parts store.

You need to PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to which side gets glued to the windsheild. There should be an allen, plhillips or trx screw that hold the mirror to the backing plate. Remove it from the mirror and follow the directions on the package.
