I purchased my 96 civic from a used car shop. No one knows its history. No owners manual. Worried to have a timing belt problem, I check the belt every 10,000 miles. After 40,000 miles on my use, I decided to change the belt so I wont worry getting a snapped belt. Now I made another 60,000 miles in 2 years. Up to how many miles can the original timing belt last. Tnx.
