1999 Honda Civic LX. Mileage: 145,000 miles.

Hours after a mechanic replaced the timing belt the SRS light came on. The horn also wouldn't work, and neither would the cruise control. I've tested all the fuses, and none of them are bad. Could it be a wiring harness inside the steering assembly? How would I go about accessing the steering assembly to troubleshoot it? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The cruise unit is right up there by the front of the engine, look for a connector unplugged or vacuum line left off. The SRS should be scanned, it will give you a good idea of where to start. Horn? Test light at the horn its self, have someone hit the horn and see if you light up. Dont really see a connection between t-belt and horn/SRS, Check those things and get back to me
