1998 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

ok, I took a plug wire off my 98 honda civic while it was running and the car died. It would not crank back so I checked for spark in the plud wires and there was none. So what is my problem?

Hi cmaynor0225,

No spark could be due to a fault ignition coil. Most probably the ignition coil was failing and pulling the plug wire accelerated the demise of it.

At distributor wire harness, test for battery voltage at theBlack/Yellow wire with ignition switch ON and while cranking. If voltage is present, test the ignition coil primary and secondary resistance.
