1997 Honda Civic Manual 111K miles

I've been hearing some rattling in my Honda immediately after I start up when I drive in reverse and 1st gear, and then it subsides. Should I have the clutch looked at? How much should labor and parts for a clutch for a 97 Civic with 111,000 miles cost?

Hi rmorales918,

The rattling most probably is not from the clutch. There might be something that is loose somewhere and when cold the vibration is higher.

I would suggest checking the exhaust system.
