Air Conditioning problem
1993 Honda Civic 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

A/C is properly charged, but cools for a while, then just blows air, cools for a while, then just blows air. On a long trip, does this constantly, as it does on about town. I'm thinking replace the clutch coil, as I know that can cause the A/C to run intermittantly. Air is nice and cool when it does work. Ideas?

Hi BeckyKeffer,

If the gas had not been overcharged, then it is possible the clutch is not working well.

Either the coil is weak or the clutch clearance is too large not allowing it to hold firmly.
