1988 Honda Civic Two Wheel Drive Manual 130000 miles

i just bought a 88 honda hatch and the guy was saying it ran slow because it needed a tps becase it was bad but then I drove it home more I drove it the less power the acceleration then it wouldnt go past 20 then was then it started overheating like 3 miles into driveing it I had to stop and hae a tow truck get me I dont know much about cars so if anyone could help it would be much appreciated

If you're overheating-check the all the cylinders if it has coolant in it-

Will that cause weak acceleration 2 becase the car has like noo! Power

Coolant and gas don't mix together in the cylinders-check it

So if there is coolent in the cylender what that mean what do I have to replace im relly stupid when it comes to cars

Get it block and pressure tested to rule out a blown headgasket, cracked head or block and an intake leak-

Ok im pretty sure its a blown head gasket or cracked head thanks for pointing me in the rite direction there is water in my oil and I hae a friend and he said thats it has to be I told him what u sayed and he thinks its one of those he said he is positive thanks for the help
