My car is a 92 honda accord ex with about 100,500 miles on it or so (give or take a few miles) it has a 4 cylinder engine. (Sorry not sure how many liters can come back and post that if I need to) I get in my car and start it up and the steering wheel gets to shaking pretty bad with the air conditioner on. It does it a little with the ac off but alot with it on. I was told that the motor mount bolts might be going bad. Would that be a correct diagnosis?

Well it could be the motor mount is broken or as a result of lower tire pressure and also could be low idle and if it is low idle dont hide a higher idle of many other problems it could be but check those first three problems

Listening to your comments I am going to wager that the vehicle is idling to low. Your vehicle should be idling at about 750 rpm + or - 50 whether the ac is on or not.

You know my car did the same thing. I have a 90 accord F22A-4 with about 40k miles on it. But it turned out to be the front motor mount was destroyed. We pulled the mount and it fell apart. Still had a fairly rough idle and drive after words with n without AC. That turned out to be the EGR vavle was going bad.
