2000 Honda Accord EX Coupe V6 100,000 miles, well my car makes an ugly metal to metal sound when reversing. Just one loud click and that’s it. I have been told it is a busted motor mount. What do you guys know of this problem?

That has been a general complaint that owners of that vehicle are reporting. You might want to contact Honda to see what they are doing about that. The information that I got was from an NHTSA website. That is a federal agency and there has been pressure to have that section of the site removed. Owners can go online and complain about their problems with vehicles. Here are two links. One is an article referencing the fight to remove the site and the other is the NHTSA site.
