ODOMETER FADES INTERMITTELY 2002 Accord

Over the last year or so my digital odometer fades in and out. But always works eventually. This doesn't happen everyday more rather once a week or so.

It appears to accurately record the mileage and trip info. It's kind of a nuisance rather than a huge problem I was wondering what I can do to fix this.

Im thinking loose wiring somewhere, any ideas?

Yes you have the culprit. I would suspect a ground in the dash is not as tight or clean as it should be.

I suspect there is no easy way to get to this beyond taking apart the whole dash?

Could be fun.
