2002 Honda Accord digital odometer

When I fisrt start my car some of the lines that make up my odometer numbers are missing. After a few minutes the odometer reading will be full and clear. What would cause that? Also my maint. Required light flashes a few times after I start it then goes off. I know all the lights come on when you start the car but that light lasts longer than the others. It just started a week ago.

Hi jdprim,

The partial digital display is most probably due to bad connections of the display board.

The Service reminder light will flash as the mileage for service due since it was last reset should be nearing soon.
