5-speed manual - 1.8L

For a few weeks my car has been having trouble starting. I have to press the gas pedal all the way to the floor in order for it to start.
After driving for approx 2 hrs in traffic, I turned my engine off and it sputtered & made a clunking sound before shutting off.
After a day of not driving, I had been driving for another 2 hrs and the same thing happened, but this time it died when I was stopped. It would turn over but would not start. I noticed a gasoline smell from the carburetor and it was 1/2 full of gas.
I had it towed home and replaced the distributor cap & rotor and the fuel pump relay. When I tried to start it, it would not turn over. My solenoid clicked but would not turn the starter.
I tried to push start it and it would not start.
I tried starting it again with the key and it turned over but still did not start.
My carburetor is still full of gas.
HELP!

Need to find someone in your area that does carb work, sounds like the needle and seat is stuck allowing fuel to flood into the engine.

It's leaking (actually, a pouring) oil coming from the lower pulley area around the crankcase.
It started out slow and then started to flow like a little river. It is also leaking from the opposite end of the crankcase but not as fast.
It started to leak really bad after trying to push-start the car last night.
