Yesterday, My girlfriend bought a 2003 honda accord with 51,000 miles on it. Weve noticed that when we start the car and its on park it vibrates.I dont know if thats normal for a honda thats barely 3yrs old. Also when I drive it and come to a stop on the road with the break pressed it vibrates as well and sometimes shakes a little bit. Any help please before I take it to a shop.I dont know if its a major problem or minor.

Try noting what the tach is reading. You could be idling to low. This really sounds minor in nature. How does it feel when it is running down the highway?

Just wanted to say thanks for the reply. If the idle is to low is that whats causing the vibration on the car, and if so where should it be at.I took it to the dealer and they said it could be the throttle body, which I doubt because the throttle has nothing to do with the vibration right. Please help before I waist my time going back to the dealer going back and forth.

The car should idle at a steady 750 rpms. Dropping and idling below that is not good for the engine and will cause vibration. Stating that the throttle body in bad is really quite a simplistic answer. There are many variables of sensors and such on the throttle body.
