2003 Honda Accord Gas Mileage

I recently purchased a certified pre-owned 2003 Honda Accord EX 4 cylinder. I expected to get great gas mileage. I usually get 14-16 miles per gallon and 12-14 with the a/c on. I have taken the car to two different Honda repair stations and they have both said the same thing. Nothing is wrong, everything is to spec, and this is normal. I'd like to know if anyone else has had this problem, and if you can help me. I'm at a loss dealing with Honda.

I have a 2002 LX Accord, 5Spd. I always get 30MPG with mixed city/highway and 35 highway. I always use the A/C, I never drive with the windows down. If you are not satisfied with Honda, I would call Honda Headquarters in California. They have great customer service there.
