Hi, I had my new clutch kit installed on my car. Its a exedy aftermarket kit. Everythings fine but my clutch padel feels really really tight and I am getting back pain for this. Really weird. The mechanic says that it can't loosen or anything. I thought its normal but its hurting my back now. And really like to know if he did do anything wrong. I only paid 200 bucks for the labour! Is there a way I can loosen the padel?

thanks in advance

Hi monta21,

When the clutch kits had been replaced, the other problem likely to cause a heavy clutch pedal is the clutch release bearing fork. It could be worn unevenly or lacks lubrication. Requires removal of trans to check/and rectify.

The job was not done well, without a closer inspection of the linkages, forks and not properly lubricated.
