1998 Honda Accord Engine switch off while running and start

Its happen 5 to 6 six time in recent all of a sudden engine will shut off for 2~3 sec and start again on its own while moving. Otherwise every thing is working perfect no problem but engine will shut off and comes back again on its own, no specific interval. First it happen 3 month ago I showed to Honda dealership they could not find any trouble, but in last 3 week its happen thrice & today I was about to hit front vehicle because it shifted my concentration from driving to front panel. While engine shut off maintenance light, engine light switch on and tachometer comes to zero. Let me what will be possible problems.

Hi mkchandu24,

At what speed was the vehicle travelling when it happened?

If all the indicators lights do not show, you might have electrical contact problem. Check the ignition switch for heated solder on wire joints to switch. The problem being intermittent, you might not get any negative results.
