When I start my car it revs up and down and when I try to pull off it will start to go and then the car will just stop like im not pushing the gas, it will run fine if I let it sit and run at idle for a while. So I went and got it checked and they said it was the map sensor but it was still acting the same, so I went back and I was told it was the tps sensor. Im in the process of replacing the tps now. My question is could the tps be the cause of these symtoms.

Hi mike5135,

I don't think it is the TPS. Problem should be excessive air getting into the manifold and usually it is caused by the EACV or vacumn leakages.

Check the EACV and ensure its coolant passages are not clogged.

Check the coolant level in radiator, insufficient coolant can cause the problem as well.
