I ran my code and it was code 7 so I bought a new one and replaced it. The car still has the code. I've tried to reset the computer but it seems to not work. The car seems to not reset to run the new sensor. How do I reset the computer I tried to pull the battery cable and wait ten minutes then plug back in.

That is how you reset it.

You have three wires on the TPS plug. One is power, one is ground, one is signal. Ensure you have power and ground going to the plug and that the TPS is sending a signal to the ECU.
