1989 Honda Accord car wont start

1989 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

the distributor went out on my 89 honda accord lxi and I bought a new one and installed it and got a new cap, rotor, and spark plug wires and also a new battery I cant the car to start. What should I do?

Yes I do have fuel pressure and spark. At first we thought it was a fuel pump but it works fine

What is the fuel pressure reading? Also do you have injection pulses

I dont know how to test fuel pressure and I dont know what injection pulses are?

The battery I bought back in february and I think it may be shot we tried to charge it today and it wont hold a charge.

Did you mark the distributor and rotor before you installed the new one -if not your valve and ignition timing is off-

Yes I did, on my certain type of vehicle the timing is controlled by the program fuel injection computer

Get somebody that knows how to check fuel pressure and injection pulses then comeback with some results I need this information before I can conitnue.

Hey badboy2150. I'm having the same problem. Did you ever figure it out? I changed everything possible already. I have spark and fuel pressure changed the main relay, distributor, coil, batttery, alternator, plugs and wires etc. Even my mechanic can't figure it out. Please let me know if you help. Thanks

Does the engine have compression? I am thinking the timing belt has jumped a couple teeth.
