Hard starting

Occasionally to get her to run for a few seconds you must feather the gas pedal while cranking. Repeating this operation 5-10 times and she will start and run but it takes about 20 seconds of running to settle down and idle smoothly. Seems like the accelerator jets are the only thing with gas to make it run just a little to prime the float chamber? 1996 side winder.

Good afternoon,

I would start by checking the fuel pressure when it is cold. Low fuel pressure will cause this issue.
