Check fuel pressure first should be41-47 psi and hold for at least 5 minutes then scan for codes and quit replacing parts to fix it it just costs you money, more thatn you would to have it diagnosed correctly

I will check the fuel pressure. I wasn't replacing the parts to fix the problem It's a project car that I'm fixing up and I wanted all new parts. If the full pressure is in spec. Any other suggestions?

Send me the vin code it shouldn't be that high and I think you are confused as to what injection system is that you have. If it's 32-40 for port fuel it'snot enough it shold be 41-47. Port fuel wil have like 4pipes perside

It's tbi. I know what port fuel injection is. I wish I had mpi injection. I ordered the fuel pump off of ebay and i'm thinking now that they sent me the wrong pump. I just rebuilt the tbi with new injectors and pressure reg. One of the injectors o ring isn't holding the pressure and is leaking past the o ring. The engine is runing rich and has the smelly white smoke coming from the tail pipe. This was happing before the tbi rebuild. Some how the injectors was holding the pressure before, but not now.

It should only have 9-13 psi that may be why your oring is leaking. Hopefully it's not damaged your regulator either. And giving you your problem with running as well

Just get the right pump before you ruin your tbi unit. Go to anauto parts store. Those rated at 95 psi are way to high I have no other suggestions for you.

I will. Last question. Will the high fuel pressure cause the having to push on the gas pedal to start, poor idle and the white smelly smoke from the tail pipe.
